Pea to Pea is made by Crowner Technology Inc., Canada. This page says, plainly, what the app keeps and what it does not.

What the app stores

Each install gets an anonymous account: a random identifier with no name, e-mail or phone number attached. If you choose to give a display name, your partner sees it; nobody else does. The boards you play, the moves made on them and the reactions sent are stored so both players see the same game.

If you allow notifications, a device token is stored so we can tell you it is your move. Switch notifications off in the app and the token is removed.

What the app does not do

No advertising. No analytics or tracking. No contacts, location or photos are read. There is no chat and no public profile. Nothing is sold or shared with anyone.

Where

Game data is held on servers in Canada (Supabase, Montréal region). Notifications go through Google's Firebase Cloud Messaging and Apple's push service, which see only the device token and the short message.

Deleting

Uninstalling the app abandons the anonymous account; nothing identifies you afterwards. To have the account's boards removed as well, write to support@crowner.ca with the code shown in the app's settings.
